Okay... so maybe I AM tainted by my own experience during Katrina. BUT, how in the heck does any person who lives in the state of Louisiana, especially a so called educated person (ie: the fools who had the lack of respect for humanity and hung nooses from that, now infamous tree) DARE to focus on such hatred and ignorance all the while KNOWING what their fellow residents from New Orleans have been dealing with??? It makes me sick to think how much more productive their "energy" could and SHOULD have been spent... like doing something good versus something embarrassing and vile. Even Oprah did a show on this whole Jena Six situation... and while I know we have many ignorant fools among us in life... it hurts even more to know that some of the most foolish were our own local "finest" shame on those who provoked this mess! I realize it's been two years since Katrina hit, but so much has not gone back to normal here. And the hurricane season whichs runs til November... remains active. In fact we caught a lot of rain from the last tropical storm. I know it's hard to truly imagine the tragic consequences... but I do ask that you all keep us in your prayers... we can't withstand another direct hit! Thank you all... TIKI
